Launching our next-generation global redirection network

In May 2022, we launched our next-generation global redirection network. This edge network is a decentralized computing infrastructure that provides local access points, also called point of presence (POP). This architecture offers a number of advantages for our redirect service. Primarily, the edge network can minimize the latency between user requests and redirections, ensuring faster and more responsive redirects. Additionally, edge networks enable efficient load balancing and scalability, allowing for high-traffic redirects and distributing it effectively across multiple edge servers.
